Even now I am still deeply grieved by William's death. A finer, more compassionate and dedicated man is rare to find in life. His memory is well worth preserving, not just for the family but for all of us who were so touched by his grace, his humor and his commitment to making life in this world better for everyone. May God bless William's family.

I was shocked and sadden to hear of William's passing. We worked together years ago in Rochester at CSST. He will be missed. My condolences to family. I will never forget his passion and commitment for his students.

The word "amazing" seems etched into the past few days. We heard it reverberate time & again in the celebratory super hero energy of your saturDAY. The air was crisp & clean & clear as we crowded inside the True way--- in contrast to the warmth & comfort of the filing out within the victory of "a glad morning... to fly away."
And so your Rochester Fisher family friends gathered in the Sonshine of your day, excited to testify to your amazing grace/filled presence in our lives. The pastor exclaimed, " We are born to die but die to live." And that legacy being real and true and inevitable means--- the life you NOW live will continue to speak for you.

Will was my student at St. John Fisher College many years ago. His sense of humor and brilliance made him a delight in the classroom. More important, he transformed Fisher during his time here; he was SGA president and created the Fisher Creed, which today all students embrace when they enter the college.
Will was unforgettable and beloved. Those of us who had the privilege to work with him at Fisher are praying for you, Delores, and all those who loved him. His untimely passing leaves a huge "Will-shaped" hole in the world as we know it.

William was one of my first friends when I started my first teaching job. He was always supportive and caring, and of course, funny. During a golf tournament, my partner and I were behind William's group. He stole every ball that my partner hit. Having William along for bowling, parties or "literary club" made it an extra special event. He is greatly missed.
