William DAUGHERTY Obituary
Age 81, of North Tonawanda, passed away unexpectedly, February 18, 2022. William was a former employee of National Grinding Wheel, Buffalo Abrasives and Twin City Ambulance. He was a faithful member of Zion United Church of Christ. He loved golf, traveling, and camping, but first and foremost he loved his family. He was the son of the late Alexander and Evelyn (Houghton) Daugherty. Survived by his loving wife of 42 years Donna (Croff) Daugherty and her two daughters, Carol (Donald) Peacock and Karen (Kevin) Robins; dear father of Dawn (Brian) Helfferich, Debra (John) Gannon, Diane Daugherty, and William (Heather) Daugherty; grandfather of 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brother of Donald (Judith) Daugherty and the late Richard Daugherty and Barbara Leber; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the FRETTHOLD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Rd., in North Tonawanda, on Monday from 4-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM from Zion United Church of Christ, 15 Koenig Circle, Town of Tonawanda. Interment will be in Elmlawn Cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be made to Zion United Church of Christ. Online condolences may be shared at frettholdfuneralhome.com
