In my many years in the food business I have met very few people whom I have never heard a bad word spoken about, at one time or another. Bill was one of the special people whom was loved from both sides of the desk. He was a mentor of mine and will be forever remembered.

Dear Jerry, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have missed dearly seeing you and Bill at the mall. I only heard the news today and am truly sorry I missed the wake. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this very sad time. I will miss Bill's smiling face and wonderful conversation. He reminded me so of my own Dad. He will be missed. God Bless.

Dear Fichtner Family - We are all so sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Fichtner was more than just the man who came to the office with our Dry Cleaning, he was a welcome visitor to our office twice a week. We will miss his cheerful face and stories here at Arbor.

Dear Fichtner family...I am so sorry for your loss, I worked with Bill for several years and he was an awesome , funny, great guy! Bill will be missed deeply. We would say to Bill how are you, and Bill would say "better than a sharp stick in the eye"..I will always remember that!

Dear Fichtner Family-
Bill was more than our neighbor, he was our friend. His smiles, conversations, advice, and love he showed our family will never be forgotten and forever cherished. We will miss him deeply and our faithful dog Buddy will miss his doting caregiver.
May God help all of you through this time of sorrow. He was truly a one-of-a-kind great man who loved his wife Jerry and his whole family very, very much.

I used to work for the Alzheimer's Association and 'Mr. F' used to drop-off the dry cleaning. Such a pleasant man, loved talking about his kids, grandkids, Notre Dame, Sabres, Bills...my thoughts go out to his family and loved ones.

Dad, as you rest peacefully now, know that my never ending love for you, my father, will never die. You and Mom gave me 3 loving sisters and 1 amazing brother. Caring for you until the end is all that I wanted to do...my gift back to you. I will miss our phone calls when we would talk about all of the updates on what was going on, and with who.
