MEEGAN - William H. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, passed away on December 26, 2019. Bill was devoted to his family, especially his wife, Judy, who he cared for with great love. He was a superhero to his daughters, and a loving and ever-present grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a loyal and steadfast friend. Bill was the life of any party, an ardent lover of laughter, a great teller of stories, a consummate businessman and role-model on how to live a full and meaningful life. Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Judith C. Meegan; his treasured daughters and their spouses, Carrie (James Daddona) Sheila, Molly (Abbe Lowell) and Kate (Brenan Rucker); his 11 grandchildren, Kelly, Chelsea (Matt Gerardi), Megan, James, Ryan, Maddi (Nick Ayala), Alizah (Jeremy Schall), Elana (Ben Shlansky), Reilly, Delanie and Colleen; and his great-grandsons, Kevin, Max, Solomon and Jacob. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas V. and Irene Ryan Meegan and his sister and partner-in-crime, Sheila M. Meegan. There will be an Irish wake held on Friday, January 3rd, from 5-8 PM at MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 95 S. Franklin St., Chagrin Falls, OH 44022. Funeral Mass will be Saturday morning, January 4th, at 9:30 AM at Divine Word Catholic Church, 8100 Eagle Rd., Kirtland, Ohio 44094 (please meet at the church).
