I am the neighbor next to Don's pasture, along with Frankie Strickland.
I just want to tell you children of his( and of course your mothers) what a very kind man we found your father to be. He was so nice to talk to and gave us access to electricity thru the pasture. I found him to be the true example of what neighbors should be.
I'm so sorry I wasn't able to know him better. When I saw him he was always busy repairing fence or feeding. I could tell he truly loved what he was doing and the fact that his daughter and son-in-law were there to help made it even better. I know he will be missed always. You are all lucky to have had such a good man to head up your family. There's nothing better than a father you can be proud of.
