Ronnie Dee Davison

Aug. 17,1944 - June 28, 2023

Ronnie Dee Davison, 78, peacefully passed in his home June 28, 2023 with family at his bedside.  He was born on August 17, 1944 to the late Johnny Claude Davison and Ruby Lorene (Hull) Davison.
Ronnie enjoyed reading, fishing and lure making, driving his truck, mechanic work and watching westerns. He retired after a long career as a truck driver.  He was married Sept 13, 1963 to Cherrie Lynn Long and from that 21 year union came four children; Joel Davison and wife Angela, Kim Jones and husband Aaron, Carrie Sparks and husband Danny, and Matt Davison and wife Rachel.  He married his beloved Linda Sue Davison May 26,1989 and together they raised three children; Tanya Staeger, Kim Hatfield and partner Rick Mallory, and Jenny Charlton and partner Shane Gibbs.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda Davison; and brother- in-law, Jim Justice.  He is survived by his children; his sister, Jeanette Justice; brother, Kenny Davison; eleven grandchildren; Lacey Wimberly & husband Colby, Zachery Davison & wife Rachel, Jessica Hall & husband Casey, Nathan Hallemeier & wife Amanda, Emily Sparks, Jacob Davison & wife Amanda, William Staeger, Valerie Felin and partner Chris Macoskey, Jake Felin, Jason Charlton, and Dakota Charlton; and many great-grandchildren. He will be missed by family and friends.
He will be laid to rest with a small family gathering at the graveside.
