Steven Bernath Obituary
Born in Allentown, New Jersey, Steven has been a lifetime resident of Bordentown, N.J.
He loved sailing and was a member of the Yapewi Yacht Club in Bordentown.
Steven served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Piper and was a proud member of the US Submarine Veterans organization, "The Silent Service".
He was an historical re-enactor with MLNRA.
Beloved husband of the late Janice Weeks (Hollenczer), Steven is the brother of Ann Michele Shaw and uncle to Rodger Schwab. He is also survived by two great nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 17, 2020, from 10 until 11 a.m. at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. The Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.

Sad to hear of Steve's passing! I'm sorry for the loss to his family and offer my sincerest condolences. He was a fun person & I have some fond memories of him! RIP, Steve!

I had the pleasure of knowing Steve through the Yapewi Aquatic Club. He was always a gentleman, had a warm smile and many wonderful stories to tell. He will be missed by many. Sincerest sympathy.

Steve was married to my cousin Janice. They would come to visit with Aunt Helen a few times a year. Once Steve found a stick in my woods, peeled the vines off of it and scraped it clean! It became a very cool twisted walking stick! He saw that I loved it and did a bigger one!! I think of him every time I walk my dog! He was very sweet and funny and sent me a few items that he knew I’d appreciate when my cousin passed. He will be missed, Rest In Peace Steve
