I am pleased to see your name come up on my email, Adam, however that happens. I was thinking of you and your parents the other day. We served together in various capacities over the years. Not all of it was pretty. We did the best we could. I look back and direct myself to believe what you did and what we did mattered, most often in ways we will never know. Today, i am remembering the three of you. Jon Coffin PS: see email correction.

Adam,
I remember you as a child in Italy when your dad brought you, Asa, and Tessa by the office and seeing you again at your father's retirement ceremony. You had grown into a handsome young man and I watched how you cared for your son and daughter - you were a wonderful and loving father. Your have a loving and close knit family who miss you so much. My prayers are with them as they remember your 1 July birthday. Rest in peace sweet child of God.

Sir, Daneen, and the kids, Simo and I were heartbroken to have just learned of Adam's passing. He was always a caring soul who clearly positively impacted countless others. His strong presence will be dearly missed. Your family is in our hearts and prayers.

After just meeting you on the Metro a week ago, I was honored that you chose to share the loss of this Warrior with me General Roy. I see what you meant by his coy smile in this photograph. As one who's lost Marines to this dark, gripping phenomenon, I appreciate your quest to aid those of us still troubled by PTSD. After reading about him, I truly wish I knew your son Will. The world will most definitely be a much more lonely place without him in it. God Bless you all, and continue to surround yourself with those who shall keep his memory alive until you meet up with him again......

My husband, Sven, served on the same team with your son in Iraq, and I was lucky enough to meet Adam in El Paso during their premobiliziation and a handful of times afterward. We are so saddened by the news of this tragic loss and send you our deepest condolences. My husband will attend the service Sunday and will represent our family. There are no words that ease this type of pain but I do wish you comfort in knowing he was loved and liked by so many. With deepest sympathy, Lisa Myrberg
