Fletcher - Gerald "Jerry" Bates Jr., 67, died Dec. 16, 2019.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday Dec. 22, 2019 from 1-4:30 pm with a service held at 4:30 pm at the Minor Funeral Home in Milton, VT.

We will miss this special person. Rene would always tell me when Jerry stopped into the shop. Fond memories of those long ago Sunday group breakfasts out. Jerry always had a ready smile and incredible stories.

I will always remember Jerry's incredible work ethic, how proud he was of Kate and Nick, and the courage and humor he showed when afflicted by a cruel disease. Jerry was always there when you needed him and could usually turn whatever we were doing into a good story down the road. We will miss those story's. We will miss you Jerry. Peace to you my friend.
