Robert J. Tompkins Sr.

Age: 68 • Burlington/Jeffersonville

In Loving Memory of Robert J. Tompkins, Sr., 68, currently of Jeffersonville, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017 in the UVM Medical Center. He joins his sons and daughters in Heaven: Stephen, Bobby, Stephanie and Christina; his parents: Henry and Lucy Tompkins.

He was born in Danbury, CT on April 14, 1949 to Henry and Lucy Bell (Tompkins)Tompkins.

He had been employed at Acme Paint & Glass and was the husband, for 47 years, of Christine (Ritchie) Tompkins, who survives him. He also leaves 8 children: Richard, Marie, Faye, Dorothy, Henry, Pearl, Lee and Lucy; 25 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; his sisters: Dorothy, Marie, Angie, Joanie and Sissy, all of CT and much extended family. He will be deeply missed by everyone.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, Nov. 6, 2017 at 10 a.m. in Elmwood-Meunier Funeral Chapel, 97 Elmwood Ave., Burlington with interment following in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Annex, Pomeroy St.
