David Alexia Obituary
David Harley Alexia, 65, of Crystal River, Fla., formerly of Butler, died Monday.
Dave was a retired trucker, Florida's biggest Steelers fan, and a lover of Harley motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; his daughters, Kelly Alexia of Harmony, Marcy Alexia, Carol Ferguson and Bobbi Alexia, all of Mercer, and April Hoff of Crystal River, Fla.; his father, John Alexia Jr. of Gibsonia; his sisters, Jeanne (Robert) Dickison of Butler, Kim Alexia of Gibsonia and Shirlee (Harry) Maxwell of Gibsonia; one brother, Andy of Butler; grandchildren Aaron, Brandon, Christina, Miranda, Marlena, Dylan, Kylie, John and Blake; one great- grandchild, Kaden; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his mother; his aunt, Carole; his brother, John; and his sister, Teresa.

Almost 2 weeks later, I think I have the stomach 2 get online & read this, but I realize I'm not any better than I was then. Even though we had our ups & downs, my dad knew I loved him & I know he woulda done anything for me. It feels like a bad dream every time I realize I can't just call him or see him when I want. Thanks 2 everyone that have been supportive to me & my mom through this. God knows its been a job alone for my mom 2 keep me from drowning myself in my tears as I sink farther into my couch. I grew up thinking he was untouchable & would live forever. It kills me how wrong I was. I LOVE YOU DAD. :(

Even though so much time has passed and it wasn't easy, I have always loved and missed my dad. My thoughts are also with his family in FL he left behind. May he rest in peace now.

After losing touch with David's family so many years ago, I'm sorry that this is how I was able to catch up with him. My prayers are with the family, that they can reflect on fond memories.
