Not sure what to say?

November 1, 2011

Dear Cathe & Family, Mrs. Franz, Bill, Bob, Tom and Sue: I would like to extend my heartfelt sympathy to all of you. There are no words of consolation that I could say that would lessen the pain and shock of his passing, but instead I will offer a few of my thoughts of Dave to celebrate his life.

Knowing Dave since high school in Valparaiso, he was a man that loved his family and their gatherings. He was loyal and gifted with intelligence, compassion and quite confidence. He loved nature and he loved his dogs. He had many friends who loved to be with him in work and play. He was a good person with a kind spirit.

My only regret is that I let the miles put 'distance' between Dave & I. There are many of us that have just heard of Dave's passing, so please know that you are all in the thoughts and prayers of many at this time.

And riding the bus from Lutz Road to school, and our confirmation class at English Lutheran. Your family will remain in our hearts and prayers. The Blontz Family
