David Nastasi Obituary

David Carmen Nastasi Sr.
David Carmen Nastasi Sr., 79, of Butler died unexpectedly Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born July 16, 1927, in Grove City, he was the son of Domenic and Carmella Belgadori Nastasi.
Mr. Nastasi attended Kradel School and graduated from Butler High School in 1945.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army. He retired as maintenance supervisor for Butler County.
He was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
He was a life member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 64 of Butler.
He is survived by a son, David C. Nastasi Jr. of California; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Georgia) Lees of Beaver Falls, two sisters, Mrs. Rose Trombatt of Butler and Mrs. Helen Vicari, with whom he made his home; three grandchildren, Raylene Gieg of McKees Rocks, Travis Goldstrom of Beaver, and Christopher Nastasi of Arizona; two great grandchildren, Trey and Tayva Gieg of McKees Rocks; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Erma Parlanti Nastasi, who died April 17, 1966, as well as three sisters and two brothers.
NASTASI- Friends of David Carmen Nastasi Sr., who died Friday, Oct. 6, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday from Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. James Dolan officiating.
Burial will be in the Saint Michael Cemetery.
The Bereavement Group of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish will meet at 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home to conduct a Scriptural Wake Service.
The family requests memorial donations to Disabled American Veterans Chapter 64, of Butler, in care of the Butler Veteran's Affairs Medical Center.
