Grace M. Harris
Grace M. Harris of Strongsville, Ohio, died Thursday at her home.
She was the beloved wife of the late Donald G. Harris, loving mother of Donald G. Harris and his wife, Patricia, and Diane Bureman and her husband, Doug.
She was the greatly adored grandmother of Kimberly, Collette, Nicole, Jeff, David, Elizabeth and Katharine, and her five great-grandchildren, Wrenna, Ashley, Kylie, Presley and Colin.
Grace was cherished by her numerous nieces and nephews, neighbors and friends and will be greatly missed.
Born March 1, 1921, she was the younger sister of the late Ethel Greggs and the late Evelyn Noss.
Grace was a longtime employee of National City Bank, and since retiring, she lived for a time in Sarasota, Fla. Her days were filled with love and laughter, crossword puzzles, the Cleveland Browns, watching golf and keeping people on their toes.
Her family thanks her extended family and friends for their love and caring visits that gave her great joy and comfort.
HARRIS - Friends of Grace M. Harris, who died Thursday, May 7, 2009, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville. Services will be at noon Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be later in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
