I grew up with Jim on the South Side and have many good memories of a time spent on Maple Avenue, St. Michael's school and Butler High. I moved away after my Navy years and we never saw each other again. I was hoping to see him at our 50th Class reunion, but he was not in good health and could not attend. My sinceere condolences to the entire Kudika family,

To Jim's family: We wish to express prayer's and sympathy to a long time fine loyal friend from Butler's South-side. We remember the good old days when we all attended St. Michael's Grade School. He will be sadly missed by Don Nagy, Ray Ramelli and Butch Denny.

The words cant describe the hurt I have when it comes to the thought of not being able to communicate or interact with my papa anymore. But the feeling I have when I realize he will no longer be in such pain anymore, Helps me recover from the tears. I love my papa more then words can describe and he will forever live in my heart and no matter how far.. I know he will always be by my side and protect me from the flames of life just like he did when he was with us physically. I love you papa, I hope you hear my words I cry to you every night.

Dear Marlene, Pete, & families; May we express our deepest sympathy in the death of Jim. I remember him from Butler High School & he sure was a fun loving person. I lost track of him years ago, but always wondered where he was & how he was doing. May God bless all of you, during such sad times.

It was a pleasure to know Jim and I am so happy that he passed at home with those he loved at his side. My thoughts are with you Darlene at this very hard time for your family.

I'm smiling as I write this because your dad was quite a guy. All that toughness...but if you knew him, you knew he had a big heart. Your family has a history of strength, humor and a strong devotion to each other. I envy the time you all were able to share together. Of course he will be missed...but also celebrated. You all shall remain in my prayers. God bless!

We only got to know Jim over the last few years when our son married his daughter Beverly. His devotion to his grand daughter Teagan was so precious. Our prayers go out to Nana and the entire Kudika family at this time of loss. Thank the Lord that he is no longer suffering and remember the good times. All our blessings
