Oh, I guess it was 1950 John and I were buddies and I stayed over athe farm house....way up that farm lane at the white farm house....there was no electric and we helped his Dad milk the cows and fed the other animals......his Mom was such a nice lady and so kind.....Dad smiled and didn't say much and I didn't understand their brand of English anyway.....many shadows from the gas lamps....we had a hearty supper drank a lot of milk. It was a memorable night which I recall over the years....when leaving in the morning I Thanked the Jerick's for their hospitality.....Mrs Jericho wore a bubushka the whole time that's when I found out she could speak some Hungarian, my maternal grandparents were Hungarian and I spoke Hungarian....just then a conversation erupted.....I recall Mrs Jericho had a long life.....god bless them all.....John was a mauture young man.....the last time I recall speaking with John was 1958.
