John Nuti Obituary

John E. Nuti, 84, of Saxonburg, passed away on Jan. 30, 2022, at the Butler VA Medical Center.
Born June 7, 1937, in Wilkinsburg, he was the son of Edward L. Nuti and Georgetta R. Hughes Nuti.
John served in the U.S. Navy from 1957 to 1959.
John retired from Duquesne Light in 1997, after 39 years as a station operator.
He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Saxonburg, and Armstrong Lodge 239 F&AM, and was a former Shriner. He served with the Pennsylvania Game Commission as a deputy game warden.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed traveling throughout the country and he mostly enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
Surviving are his wife, Rosa (Donatelli) Nuti, whom he married Sept. 28, 1963; two sons, John E. Nuti II of Clearfield, Pa., and Michael S. Nuti of Saxonburg; and two nieces, Debbie Weiss and Nancy Cupps.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Lois Jean Berkowski; and one nephew, David Berkowski.
NUTI - There will be no visitation or services for John E. Nuti, who died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022.
Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
