Lucille Farnsworth Obituary
Born May 26, 1925, in East Palestine, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Freda Heck.
She was a member of the White Oak Springs Church, Connoquenessing, where she volunteered with Meals on Wheels.
Lu was a graduate of Kent State University and belonged to the Delta Gamma sorority. She was an avid reader and loved crossword puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert H. Farnsworth; one son, Craig Farnsworth; and two sisters, Eleanor Fugate and Miriam Dawley.
She is survived by one daughter, Nancy (Robert) Tolles; six grandchildren, Nicole (Chad) Wade, Zackery Tolles, Holly Tolles, Michelle (Hooman) Tashakor, Leah Farnsworth and David (Christina) Farnsworth; and her great-grandchildren, Sierra, Caleb, Karida and Aiden.
FARNSWORTH - A memorial service for Lucille "Lu" Farnsworth, who died Sunday, April 20, 2014, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014, at the White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church, Connoquenessing.
Graveside services and burial were in Lakeview Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio.
The A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City, was in charge of the arrangements.

It was a privilege to meet Lou even for a short time. She had an exciting life, a wonderful husband that she loved very much along with children she spoke so highly of. Our prayers go out to you all. Here for you, Jerry, Jan, Anna and Lydia

I was sorry to hear about the passing of my Aunt Lu.I have many great memories of many fun family times. She was a wonderful person, and made a great egg strata!She will be missed. The Heck sisters, along with Bob,Pidge,and Cloyd are definitely causing a ruckus somewhere, thats for sure! You all are in my thoughts and prayers...
