Michelle Wilfong
Michelle Lin Roeser Wilfong, 32, of New Sewickley Township, died Thursday following a courageous battle with leukemia.
Born June 23, 1975, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Phillip Roeser and Denise Maas Smith.
Mrs. Wilfong was passionate about life, loved her family and enjoyed living on the family's farm. She nurtured a variety of animals but particularly her fainting goats. She was a member of the American Goat Association and the American Fainting Goat Association.
She is survived by her loving husband, Brad; two adorable children, Dominic and Ashley; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Melanie and Craig Sole of New Brighton and Kimberly and Ray Reed of Pittsburgh; her father and his wife, Phillip and Cindy Roeser of Pittsburgh; her mother and her husband, Denise and Earl Smith of New Brighton; and her paternal grandmother, Ila Mae Roeser of Pittsburgh.
WILFONG - Friends of Michelle Lin Roeser Wilfong, who died Thursday, March 13, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, 273 Route 68, Rochester, adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Ryan Phipps officiating. Private interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

Michelle's passing is so sad. I learned of her courageous battle from Melanie and like most wished there was something I could do other than pray, which I did. To her family: please be comforted by the pleasant memories you have of Michelle. I'm sure she is in a better place now.
