Rita Klingenberg Obituary
Rita K. Klingenberg, 60, of Callery died unexpectedly Sunday.
Born April 19, 1949, in Tyrone, Blair County, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Vivian W. (Woomer) White.
Rita was a fun-loving person, who enjoyed being around her friends, having fun and talking.
She enjoyed riding quads in the mountains and going to the beach.
Rita worked at Giant Eagle for more than 20 years and was a member of the Air Heritage Group at the Beaver County Airport.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Klingenberg of Callery; a sister, Patricia Williams and her husband, Bill, of Callery; two sons, Jerry and Michael Klingenberg, both of Michigan; a grandchild, Lexi Klingenberg; and nieces, nephews and grandnieces.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Reynold and Wayne White.
KLINGENBERG - Friends of Rita K. Klingenberg, who died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Rosalyn Kummer officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to the Allegheny Valley Schools, 1996 Ewings Mill Road, Coraopolis, PA 15108-3380 or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Jer,
I'm so sorry for not making it back, but I know having Mike there and with all the family and friends, you will be taken very good care of. You are cared about by many and so was Rita.
It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that help to push away the pain and bring the smiles back again. Praying for family and friends to comfort you, faith to uphold you, and loving memories to help you smile again.

Dad, I am so sorry I couldn't be there with you right now when you need me the most. The few words we have on the phone are important to me and I hope they help you in some little way. In all the times I've been away, this moment is the hardest for me. I want to be there by your side so much, but I hope you know you have all my love and prayers with you. I'm so glad Mike is there with you right now, he wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
Dad, please lean on the family and all of the great friends you have. Take good care of yourself.

I was lucky to have worked with Rita at Giant Eagle in Cranberry. Her unmistakable laugh and wit helped make tough times seem so much better. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

What shocking news to hear of Rita's passing. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this terrible time. Such a wonderful, fun-loving person Rita was. She will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. We will never forget the great times we had at camp on the quad rides and at John's on Monday nights. My heart has been touched by Rita in a special way that I will never forget.
