Ronald Callen Obituary

Ronald E. Callen, 75, of Saxonburg, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025.
He was born in Natrona Heights on May 14, 1950, to the late Leonard and Geraldine (Allenberg) Callen.
Ronald graduated from Knoch High School in 1968 and then honorably served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1972. He was employed at Thrower Trucking until his retirement in 2015.
Ronald was known for being a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He had quick wit and a strong faith. Ronald was a member of Cabot Church. He was an avid reader, historian and movie watcher, who loved the outdoors and hunting. Ronald enjoyed working with his hands, he was known to be able to fix anything. In his free time, he rode his motorcycle and loved driving truck with his best friends.
Ronald was the beloved husband of Joyce (Andring) Callen, since their marriage on June 28, 1969; father of Christle (Callen) Critchlow and Ronald (Shannon) Callen; and grandfather of Brandon Critchlow, and Trent and Jordyn Callen.
Along with his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his brother, Lynn Callen.
CALLEN - Family and friends of Ronald E. Callen, who died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025, will be received from noon to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cabot Church, Cabot, PA 16023.

Joyce, we are so sorry for your loss and are praying for you and your family. He was certainly a great friend and even a big brother to me. We had many good times and memories in the past 40 years. He will be sadly missed!

My darling cousin who I felt at times was a brother to me
And loved him deeply.

My prayers are with Joyce and all of the family
Ron was very easy to talk to and he loved dogs as I do.
