Stephen “Lanny” Campbell Obituary

Stephen L. "Lanny" Campbell, of Slippery Rock, passed away at his home on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025.
He was born Sept. 7, 1951, to Jean Althea (Hutchison) Campbell and William Vance Campbell.
He was always there to lend a hand and enjoyed the time he was able to spend with the people he loved. He liked hunting and fishing, but his true love of life was watching his grandsons become incredible men. From Dylan's baseball games to Isaac's football games, you could always count on seeing him in the stands. From camping to fishing, he loved every moment he spent watching them grow.
He is survived by daughter, Tiffany R. (Mark) Bell; grandsons, Dylan S. Dingel (Melanie Kerins) and Isaac M. Bell (Reese Gresgott); sisters, Marly (Joe) Scherder, Pamela J. Hindman and Wendy (Dana) Durec; brother, Pete (Jody) Campbell,; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, Vance and Jean Campbell; wife, Joyce Campbell; and brother, Michael V. (Mickey) Campbell.
CAMPBELL - A memorial service will be held at a later date for Stephen L. "Lanny" Campbell, who died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025.

I'm so sorry to hear of Lanny's passing! My deepest condolences to all family and friends. I have fond memories of our family gatherings at Grandma (Edna's) house and the farm in our childhood. Lanny used to love to chase us around and pull our ponytails! We also had many visits with Vance and Jean and cousins. I'm sure his presence will be missed.
