Patsy Ruth Brown Jennings

Patsy Ruth Brown Jennings of Resaca, GA, age 91, passed away on October 10, 2022 at CHI Memorial Hospital.

She was born on September 2, 1931 in Resaca, GA, daughter of the late J.D. Brown and Ruby Carter Brown. She was also preceded in death by: her husband, Glenn Roy Jennings; and sister, Betty Chitwood Farmer. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ of Dalton, GA. Patsy formerly worked at Chitwood Rug and was a beautician for most of her life.

Patsy is survived by: her sister, Barbara Brown Judd of Dalton, GA; nieces and nephews, Tina Rutledge, Terry Rutledge and his wife Kay of Resaca, GA, Gary Carter of Dalton, GA, Rick Carter of Dalton, GA, Ronnie Carter and his wife Linda of Calhoun, GA and Johnny Brown; great-nephews, Chris Burkhalter and his wife Candice, Nathan Duke and Chase Rutledge; great-great-nephews and niece, Cage, Corban and Claire Burkhalter all of Resaca, GA; and sister-in-law, Betty Brock of Calhoun, GA.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 4 PM until 7 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Steve Griggs and Ross Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens of Dalton, GA.

Pallbearers serving include: Chris Burkhalter, Nathan Duke, Terry Rutledge, Chase Rutledge, Gary Carter and Rick Carter.
