Adelfa Torres, 65 of Corpus Christi, Texas was call by the Lord on December 5, 2018.
She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on July 18, 1953 to Guadalupe and Eudelia Meza.
Adelfa was married to her loving husband of 47 years, Rodolfo Torres on November 5, 1971.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She had a passion for her family, gardening, music and she was an immaculate home keeper.
Adelfa leaves her memories to be cherish by her husband, Rodolfo Torres; her children, Rodolfo O. (Corina) Torres, Jr., Christopher (Sadie) Torres, and Orlando (Brooke) Torres. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Ryan A. Torres, Summer E. Torres, Autumn P. Torres, Leylah Sacky, Hailey E. Torres, Rodolfo O. Torres, III.; her siblings, Alma (Modesto) Sanchez, Arthur Meza, Arnold (Belinda) Meza and Adela (Jody) Lopez.
Public visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Rites of christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.

Our deepest condolences to Rudy and sons. I was raised and attended school in the Prescott area along with Adelfa,Rudy and Alma. My husband Steve and Rudy worked together in the Public Works Department at Naval Air Station CC for many many years.
Heaven has received an angel. Adelfa was one of the sweetest and most caring person I knew.
We know her parents were there to greet and take her hand to Gods peaceful serene garden in heaven.
Rest in peace pretty lady. May God please give Rudy and the family strength and the will to go forward and celebrate her life and memories.
