Christopher Doyle Thomas, was born June 21, 1964 to Fred and Betty Thomas in Corpus Christi, Texas.
A lifelong resident of Corpus Christi, Texas, Christopher enjoyed sports, music, and cooking amongst a host of other activities.
Christopher accepted Jesus and was baptized at an early age at Calvary First Baptist Church under the direction of Dr. H.C. Dilworth and reaffirmed his commitment to Christ in March of 2017.
Christopher passed away on July 3, 2017.
He is preceded in death by his mother Betty Lou Cross and his brother Fred Thomas III (Little Fred).
He is survived by his father Fred Thomas, Jr. (Corpus Christi, Texas), brother Byron Keith Thomas (Boston, Massachusetts), sister Stephanie Miles (Houston, Texas), brother Terence Gober (Houston, Texas), daughter Edlena Thomas (Corpus Christi, Texas), grand-daughter Nyla Longoria Thomas (Corpus Christi, Texas), and a host of additional family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a wake to be held for Christopher on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 7 o'clock in the afternoon at Corpus Christi Funeral Home located at 2409 Baldwin, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405.
Funeral services will be held at Calvary First Baptist Church on Saturday, July 13, 2017 beginning at 11:00 o'clock in the morning.
The graveside service and burial will be held on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 10 o'clock in the morning at Luling Civic Cemetery located 2.6 miles north of Luling on Hwy 183 at CR309- A.
