David Bradley "Brad" Henry

David Henry Obituary

David Bradley "Brad" Henry was born on November 4, 1958. He passed away on May 25, 2003 from the effects of a long chronic illness. Brad was a Texas Real Estate Broker and Mortgage Broker; he owned and managed several multifamily housing properties in the Corpus Christi area. He had also begun a new condominium development on Padre Island. He was honored and recognized on a national level for his commitment and achievements in the real estate field. Brad was a graduate of King High School and Southwest Texas State University. He is survived by his parents, Dr. Jack and Janet Henry; two brothers Steven J. Henry, and wife Bonnie; Martin Henry and wife Nancy; a sister Karen Henry, his fianc‚e Daphne Farley; and also nieces and nephews, Kelley, Martin, Marisa, and Kathryn. Brad was an adventurer and had a great love for the sea. He had traveled extensively in the Caribbean and had crossed the Atlantic Ocean on a small sailing vessel. He was a member of the Corpus Christi Yacht Club. Brad was devoted to his family especially his sister Karen. A family memorial service will be held at The Church of the Good Shepherd on Broadway at Park Avenue in Corpus Christi on Thursday, May 29, 2003. The family will be receiving friends in their home 3:00 pm following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Karen E. Henry Foundation P.O. Box 20064 Corpus Christi, Texas 78411 or The Church of the Good Shepherd.
