Doris Henderson

Doris Henderson, 79 of Houston Texas passed away on October 6, 2008 in a hospital. Doris Foster Henderson was born March 13, 1929 in Brenham Texas to the late Sebron and Stora Foster. She attended school in Brenham and continued her education at Tillotson College in Austin then received her Masters from Prairie View AandM University. She taught in the West OSO School District then retired as Assistant Superintendent of Schools. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Lisa Hubbard; two grandchildren, Kayla Hubbard and Karissa Hubbard; three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and students that she taught. Funeral services will be held 2pm Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the Post Oak Missionary Baptist Church located at 906 Booker in Brenham Texas 77833. Burial will follow in the Old Gay Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Friday, October 10, 2008 at Brookhollow Baptist Church located at 5725 Queenston Blvd. Houston Texas 77084.
