Geronimo Ayala Torres, 93, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018.
He was born in Donna, Texas on February 16, 1925.
Geronimo married the love of his life, Carmen Torres in 1942.
He was self-employed in the Construction Industry.
Geronimo had a passion for the Astros and an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Geronimo is preceded in death by his loving wife, Carmen Torres; daughter, Francis Ridout; two sons, Ralph and Rogelio Torres; three grandsons, Juan Ridout, Alfred Carrizales and Joey Wells; one sister, Mary Torres.
He leaves his memories to be cherished by his children, Mary Carrizales, Diana (Joe) Martinez, Carmen (Stanley) Wells, Larry Torres, Geronimo (Nora) Torres, and Fidel (Cindy) Torres; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Amador Torres.
Public visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m that same evening. Rites of a Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
