Gladys Alexander Obituary
Corpus Christi - Gladys Marie Alexander passed away May 12, 2021 at the age of 85 in Lufkin, Texas. She was born in Taft, Texas on April 06, 1936. She spent most of her life residing in Corpus Christi, Texas with her loving husband BF Alexander. She was a mother to all and spent her life being a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. There was nothing she loved more than taking care of her family. She spent many a night playing cards with her children and grandchildren, laughing till we cried. In life we loved you dearly, In death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place nothing else will ever fill. Gladys was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, BF Alexander, her father Roy Coleman, her mother Ethel Coleman and a sister Loyce Haygood. She was survived by her three daughters, Teresa (late husband Gordon) Simpler, Debbie (Gary) Willard and Joanne (Terry) Kiser; her eight grandchildren, Shana Cash, Amanda (Kyle) Cline, Laura Jo (Jeremy) Sanders, Jordan Simpler, S. Aaron Allphin, Adam (Nina) Willard, Benjamin Simpler, Kason Kiser and 8 great-grandchildren. One sister Joyce Bell, and two brothers Roy Wayne Coleman Jr. and Gene Coleman.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted Friday May 21, 2021 at 1:00pm at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
Funeral services are entrusted to Sawyer-George Funeral Home 12497 Leopard St., Corpus Christi, Texas 78410 (361) 242-3205.

I am so sorry for your loss. Ms Gladys was at Pinnecle with my mother Denise. I always enjoyed getting to see Ms. Gladys. She was so sweet and from the sounds of things you all have a lot of good memories. Hang on to those, they will get you through the hard days. May peace be granted to your family. Prayers for all of you.
