LCpl Joseph L. Favela

FAVELA LCpl Joseph L. Favela, 20, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2009.He was a 2007 graduate of Robstown High School. He proudly served our Country with the US Marine Corp. where he was serving with the Charlie Company 1st Battalion /11th Marines ("C" Co. 1/11).He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Levy and Estefana Bayardo.He is survived by his wife, May Favela; his parents, Jose Luis and Marivel Favela; two brothers, Jonathan and Jonah Favela; grandparents, Teodoro and Janie Favela; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.The family will be receiving friends from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 and Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel.Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas. Interment with full military honors will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
