Joseph Kaiser Obituary

KAISER Ben Bolt, TexasJoseph Edward Kaiser, 79, passed away Monday, April 18, 2011 in a Corpus Christi hospital. He was a Korean War veteran who served in the US Navy. Joe was a long haul truck driver who enjoyed socializing, ranching, traveling and hunting. He was also a member of the New Oxford Social Club for many years. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, John Edward and Annie Moore Kaiser; his wife, Olga Garcia Kaiser; brother, John Kaiser, and sister, Joan Felix. He is survived by his companion, Elvira Orta of Alice, Texas; one son, James Michael (Sylvia) Kaiser of Keller, Texas; two daughters, Ann Marie (Paul) Fontenot of Corpus Christi, Texas and Jenny Elizabeth (Dario) Lopez of Alice, Texas; two sisters, Martha Sunbury of McSherrystown, Pennsylvania and Rita (Bernie) Cole of Hanover, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, Tessa Lopez of San Antonio, Texas, Kristen Lopez of Alice, Texas, Christina Kaiser, Justin Reyes-Kaiser and Alexandra Reyes-Kaiser of Keller, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.The family will be receiving friends at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel from 5 till 9 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011. A memorial Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. that evening with military honors conducted by the United Veterans Burial Association. A Memorial Mass and burial will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania. Joseph will be laid to rest at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in New Oxford, Pennsylvania.
