Joshua A. CranfillLeague City, TXJoshua Allan Cranfill, of League City, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2013 in Houston, Texas at the age of 7 years old. He was born on December 12, 2005 in Webster, Texas to Allan and Kara Cranfill. Joshua was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Sam and Isabell Wostal, Tobe and Verna Mae David, Julian and Claudia Cranfill, and A.B. Crawford. He is survived by his parents Allan and Kara, sister Isabell, brother Philip, grandparents Dorian and Natalie David, Wayne and Elaine Cranfill, and Fred and Mary Anthamatten, great-grandmother Joyce Crawford, aunts and uncles Haley and Warren Kopplin, Rick Richter, Kristin Richter, Lisa Cranfill, Sunni and Collin West, Eric Anthamatten, Dustin Anthamatten cousins Anthony Richter, Kelly Richter, Rachel Richter, Kyndal Kopplin, and Tate Kopplin and many other loving family and friends. He fought a courageous and valiant battle to the very end. We are saddened to walk the journey of life on earth without him, but we rejoice that he is whole again in the arms of Jesus. Thank you to all of you who have lifted Josh and us in prayer. We ask for your continued prayers as we learn a new life without Josh. Thank you, God, for the blessed 7 years we had with our precious boy. Our lives are richer and we love deepest because of the life of our Joshua. The Family will receive friends on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 5-8:00 p.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 18220 Upper Bay Rd., Houston, TX 77058. A Funeral Service will follow on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church with a reception immediately following the ceremony. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Snowdrop Foundation, a faith based childhood cancer research foundation at www.snowdropfoundation.org.
