Juan Rene PadillaLake JacksonJuan Rene Padilla, 79, went to be with Our Lord on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family, He was born on January 6, 1934 in Goliad, Texas to Antonio Padilla and Guadalupe Pena Padilla. Juan was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Lake Jackson and a former resident of Robstown, Texas. He was a very loving and caring husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend whom will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.He goes home to reunite with his parents, Antonio and Guadalupe Padilla, his brothers, Jose Angel Padilla, Mauricio Padilla and a sister, Ofelia Cardona whom preceded him in death.He is survived by his loving wife, Odilia Zavala Padilla of Lake Jackson, Texas, his two sons, Gerardo (Ruby) Padilla and Juan (Yolanda) Padilla, Jr. both of Lake Jackson, Texas, two sisters, Olivia Amesquita of Robstown, Texas, Enedelia Rodriguez of Midland, Texas, three brothers, Antonio Padilla and Albino Padilla both of Robstown, Texas, and Ray Padilla of Sasche, Texas. He was also blessed and adored by his five grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Mc Elroy, Jessica Anne Padilla, Amber Nicole Padilla, Jerry David (Deanna) Padilla, Christopher Joshua Padilla, one great-grandson, Davis Padilla, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.Visitation will begin on Sunday, October 6, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas with a Prayer Service to be held that same evening at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 7, 2013 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas with Pastor Juan Rubio and Pastor Romeo Barrera officiating.
