I was very fortunate to be a good friend and room mate of Scott, during our tour of duty in Schweinfurt Germany, HHC 1st 30th Infantry Battalion, back in 1984-1987. I have so many great memories while serving in the Army with Scott and will always cherish those times together. My deepest and sincere condolences to the Gripp family and loved ones. Richard S. Kent, Detective, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, (Cerritos Sheriff's Station)
