Sharon Geppelt Obituary
Corpus Christi, TX
Sharon Darlene McKeon Geppelt, was born November 4, 1936 in Los Angeles, California and passed away on June 11, 2018 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was a dedicated wife, mother, teacher, friend and disciple of Jesus Christ. She received her bachelor's degree in education from Brigham Young University. Sharon was married to James E. Geppelt in the LDS Mesa Arizona Temple and recently celebrated 46 years of marriage.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Jack McKeon and LaVona Robinson. She is survived by husband James, children Eric (Joan) Geppelt, Aaron (Cinnamon) Geppelt and Nicole Geppelt. She was an exceptional grandma to 11 grandchildren- Molly, Jason, Dallin, Johanna, Marie, Virginia, Devon, Matson, Cora, Sarah, and James. She is preceded in death by her sister Becky Joy McKeon Dorsch and also survived by her brothers, Burt McKeon and Daniel McKeon.
Sharon was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and taught elementary school in Japan, Utah, California, and Texas.
Visitation will be from 7:00-9:00 pm Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors. Services will be held Thursday, June 21st at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 6630 Wooldridge Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas.
