Dora Brock Obituary
Dora was born on Nov. 27, 1923, to Azzie Lee and Buelah (Brown) Bell as the eighth child of 12. Mrs. Brock was a homemaker, seamstress, quilter, avid gardener. She helped her husband, John, with farming and raising cattle. She was a member of the Davilla Baptist Church, which she joined at the age of 11.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Max Shelton and John G. Brock.
Dora was survived by four children, Donald Shelton and wife Marjorie of Cameron; Ronald Shelton and wife Gloria of Cameron, Rickey Brock of Georgetown, and Margie Brock Light and husband Randy of Sherman; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Davilla Baptist Church on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019, at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society or your favorite charity.
