Randal Baker Obituary

Randal Lee Baker Funeral services for Mr. Randal Lee Baker, age 56 of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Park Church of Christ in Farmerville with Jay Culbertson and Bruce Roebuck officiating. Interment will follow at Park Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Randal Lee Baker entered his heavenly home on November 29, 2025. He was born on October 1, 1969, and lived a life marked by joy, kindness, and unwavering faith.

Randal was happiest when he was working with his hands and helping others. He spent many years in construction, a field he loved and took great pride in. Outside of work, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, skeet shooting, playing with his dogs, and cruising the Caribbean. Wherever he went, Randal brought laughter, warmth, and an easy smile. He never met a stranger, and his friendly spirit made everyone feel like family. Above all, Randal's faith in God was the foundation of his life. No matter how sick he became, he remained steadfast-if the church doors were open, Randal was there. He served faithfully as a preacher and devoted himself to missionary work, sharing the love of Christ with everyone he encountered.

Randal is survived by his loving wife, Thena Shawn Baker; his daughter Alexis Carpenter and son in law Landon Carpenter; his son Choice Baker; his mother Debbie Cullins; his granddaughter and greatest earthly joy, Poppy Carpenter; his sister Marshal McGee and her husband Andrew McGee; and his brother Eugene Cullins. He was preceded in death by his father, Monroe Baker.

The family invites friend and loved ones to share their favorite memory of Randal, celebrating the life of a man who loved deeply, served faithfully, and touched countless hearts.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 Pm to 8:00 PM, Friday, December 5, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home.

Yesterday

We are so thankful that Randall was a part of our life. I have known Randall since he was a baby. His Mother brought him to Texas Childrens Hospital and stayed in my Mother's house while I was still living at home. Later, he and Shaun were a part of our church family at Aurora Street in Houston.
Randall was always so happy and fun. He made a big impact on our lives. We will miss him.

We are so thankful and blessed we were able to know Randal. He was a wonderful Christian man, that loved the Lord with his whole being. Randal was a great example to all in the way he lived his life, and as he encouraged others on their Christian journey. We will miss our dear friend.
