Agnes Grundemann
Agnes Grundemann is whole again worshipping at the feet of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born on July 25, 1911 in Coal City, Illinois but spent her youth in Webster, Pennsylvania. Formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence, in 1993, and eight brothers and sisters. A registered nurse, she served in the European Theatre of Operations during World War II, 163rd General Hospital, where she earned the rank of First Lieutenant in the Army. Agnes is survived by a daughter, Marsha Sales (Dr. Alex) of North Canton, son, William Grundemann (Rhonda) of Scottsdale, Arizona, grandchildren, Benjamin Sales of North Canton, Nathan Sales of Arlington, Virginia, Annalise and Christian Grundemann of Scottsdale, Arizona, sisters, Doris Matheny (Ed) of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, Chris King of Langhorne, Pennsylvania, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of grand nieces and nephews. "Aggie" was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and nurse. Services will be Wednesday at 7 P.M. in The Chapel of North Canton with Pastor Larry Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the House of Loreto, 2812 Harvard Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44709, where she was lovingly cared for by the Sisters and staff. Condolences may be sent to:
