I know in the Bible somewhere, it says how a wonderful mother will be called 'blessed' by her family. Grandma Furiate is just that kind of example. It is amazing to see all the people whose lives she touched so graciously and with such elegance and dignity. I always marveled at her beautiful smile and constantly happy outlook. And no one looked more stylish than her...I loved how even as she grew older, she still kept her nails painted, wore her makeup and her clothes were always beautiful. She was gorgeous inside and out.

My Sweet Grandma: what can I say that hasn't been said already? You were an inspiration to us all. Your determination, love for life, strength, joy, warm smile & welcome arms. Boy do I miss your hugs and your soft skin. And I miss the way you always smell so good. You always saw the best in life and never once did I ever hear you complain about anything bad even though you have seen many hardships. Your character in life is something I can teach my children to appreciate and hopefully develop in their own lives.
I shall never forget our last time together and it was the day before you went home to Jesus. I know that when I kissed you good-bye on this earth you opened your eyes and tried to talk. I know you were telling me that you will be waiting with arms open wide next to Jesus when I get there. I love you so much and I miss you. Thank you for being the biggest influence in my life next to the life Jesus Himself walked.
Your sunshine will remain with us all - until we meet again on the other side...I love you! Your granddaughter ~

Dear Terri & Family:
I got to meet your mom only one time, the summer the N.E. power grid went out! However, I know from the wonderful person that you are that your mother was an exceptional woman. My deepest condolences are with you.

My deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers are with Ann's family during this sorrowful time. I especially pray for my dearest friend, Terri, who has unselfishly and lovingly cared for her dear mother. My husband, Lou, and I have been blessed to have been a part of the Furiate gatherings over the years, usually to celebrate another milestone birthday for Ann Furiate!
We will pray for all of you and know that Ann is smiling down on her beloved family.

My dear sweet Mother said that she was ready to go and be with her best friend, Jesus Christ. She is now in His presence. Mother was a Born Again Christian. The promise has been fulfilled as stated in II Chrinthians 5:8, "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." We look forward, Mother, to the day we will be with you in Heaven. You are dearly loved and greatly missed.
Your loving son.
