Anthony Diano Obituary
Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Rossi Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony and All Saint Parish with Rev. Fr. Tom Bishop celebrant. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a Benevolent Fund for the Diano Family has been established at Firstmerit Bank. Contributions may be made at any Firstmerit branch.

I knew Tony back in 1980-81 through Bryan Stamm, a mutual friend at the time. Of the thousands of people I have met in this lifetime, few of them had the charisma and the zest for life that Tony had. He was one of those special personalities one doesn't forget.
I remember Tony being a big Elvis Presley fan at the time and I once drew a portrait of "The King" for him. Through the years, I've often wondered if he still had it.
My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to the Diano family today, as well as to the countless others that his life has touched. God bless you, Tony.

Tony always lifted the spirits of any he encountered in life, a truly remarkable quality in a human being. I am sure the heavens are greetiing him with the same happinesss he encited in all of us who had the unique opportunity and pleasure to have encountered him in this life. I became acquainted with him "back in the day" and can atest to the fact he was a "straight-up", entertaining, and real individual. Very few lack the qualities he possessed. The heavens are certainly priviileged to wecome him among their own. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.

But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
