Anthony F. Rotunno
Prayers will be 12:30 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, 65 Broad Street, Canfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. at St. Michael's Church, Canfield  for Anthony F. Rotunno, 86, died on Feb. 26, 2013 of a massive stroke. He was born Aug. 29, 1926 to Lorenzo and Ingrinada Maria Stanco Rotunno in Castel Baronia in the province of Avellino, Italy. Anthony graduated from McKinley High School serving as president of the class of '44 and was inducted into their Athletic Hall of Fame. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BA in Political Science, a Masters in Ed and completed one year of law school. He served in the Pacific Theater during World War ll. He retired in 1988 after 34 years with Nationwide Insurance.
He is survived by his wife, Nelda; his children, Lawerence A., Jonathan A., Rhonda (Kevin) Brocious, and Maria Rotunno; grandchildren, Brianna and Anthony Brocious. He leaves his sister, Phyllis (Leroy) Vaught, and brother, John, both of Canton; a brother, Michael (Janet) of Michigan; seven nieces and nephews; and 19 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Rose Bardarro; and great-niece, Darcy Hamlin.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel. Contributions can be made in his memory to St. Michael's Mens Club or Canfield Lions Club.

May God Bless you & your family in this time of sorrow. Please take comfort in knowing that now you have that special guardian angel to watch over all of you. Tony was a very special, kind hearted cousin to my parents (Tony and Bertha Rotunno)and all of us. Tony will be remembered and missed.
