Christopher Gasper Obituary
51, of Canton, Ohio, went to be with his Savior on December 15, 2020. Chris was born in Mononghela, Pa. on January 17, 1969, the first son of Jesse and Catherine (Waryck) Gasper. He married Kristen Curry in April 1997, and has three sons whom he dearly loved. Chris's love of God, sports, and his family showed in the many sports teams he coached for churches, schools, and community. He was very active in his children's lives, making sure they were taught of Jesus's love and salvation. This love grew into his business Babyskates, as he created baby size skates for his toddler to join in skating with his older brother. He later became a real estate agent, where he thrived due to his love of talking to everyone. Chris had a zest for life, with a great sense of humor. He had many friends wherever he went.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Chris is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Kristen (Curry) Gasper of Canton; three sons, Evan Gasper, Carter Gasper, and Owen Gasper; his mother, Catherine Gasper; siblings, Allen (Meg) Gasper, Adam (Penny) Gasper and sixteen nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Gasper.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Canton Baptist Temple Active Center, (515 Whipple Ave. NW. Canton, OH 44708, The building is across the street from the church). A celebration of Chris's life will follow at 6:30 p.m. with Pastor Jake Tovissi officiating. I met Chris only a year and a half ago and we became close friends. He was a great guy and a good Christian man. I'm so sad to hear of his untimely death. Condolences to the family .

Being room mothers together I've known the Catherine/Jess and the three son's ever since they had moved to Canal Fulton. I'm sorry he has left you and the family. He is now with his savior and will watch over all of you along with his dad. God bless.
