Dear Jeannie,
Jo Ann and I are truly sorry to hear about your dad's death. Visiting him and your mom was a top priority of ours whenever we returned to the Canton area. We will always remember him as both a gentleman and a gentle person. He had a really great smile, a good sense of humor, and usually had something positive to say about others. His love for you and your mom as well as the rest of your family was beyond approach! He has given you a lifetime of wonderful memories. From both of us, our sincerest sympathy to you and your mom; and, as always, our continual love.

Dear Jeannie and Aunt Ruthie,
I have such good memories of Uncle Davey, always outside smiling, when I would walk over to Yale Avenue to visit my grandma. Even though I haven't lived in Canton for many years, a couple of years ago on one of my visits home, I ran into Uncle Davey at Variety's, and he still had that smile on his face that I remember from my childhood. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Jodi (Rubinstein) Zimelman

Jeannie, I have such fond memories of Davey when I was growing up! Thinking of him always brings a smile to my face. He was so positive, so easy with a laugh. And he bought the first color TV on the block -- I still remember watching the first TV show I ever saw in color, with all of you!! (BTW, it was "Bonanza." ) And playing Clue and other board games with you, at your house. But what I remember most is how inviting and accepting and smiling and gracious Davey always was.
All my best, to you, in this difficult time.

Dear Ruthie & family,
My mom, Henrietta Niewierski, stayed next to you and David when you resided at The Inn at Belden Viallage. We shared many a laughter with David when we shared meals with both of you at the same table. He was always so kind and caring and never without a smile. We were blessed to have had the both of you in our lives. May all of you find comfort in each other's memories of David.

Really sorry to hear of Uncle DaDa's passing. He made a profound impact on me living so close, hanging out at McKinley games yelling "stick 'em!", watching Bruno Sammartino wrestling, seeing the Tribe lose another one, being set up on the ping pong table to be destroyed at the end with that darn spinning serve, being impressed with those huge tatooed biceps, speeding around those loop exits as he laughed at me being freaked, observing my grandfather's love for his little brother, and just admiring his love and appreciation of life. His spirit lives on in our hearts. Jeannie and Aunt Ruthie, our thoughts are with you.
