Dolores Boyajian Obituary

Dolores Sue
Boyajian
The world lost a wonderful loving woman on the eve of this new year. Dolores Sue Boyajian, affectionately called Tutty by those who knew and loved her, was called to heaven to join The Lord and her beloved mother on Dec. 31. Born Feb. 26, 1937, the only child of Herb and Dorie Secker (Kopf), she remained a life long resident of Canton. After graduating from Timken High School, Tutty traveled across the country alone to Los Angeles by rail, and enjoyed her year-long stay in Hollywood. On her return home, she worked at a local law firm as a legal secretary until her marriage to Edward Paul Boyajian with whom she became a proud parent and homemaker. Not one to sit idle, she became involved in fashion, cosmetology and later even opened her own floral business. This was Tutty. She loved doing new things and loved to travel (the warmer the better). She loved to read, especially murder mysteries and biographies. If you wanted to know any information about old Hollywood or Canton she had the answer. This was Tutty. She also loved sports, a diehard Indians fan, she faithfully rooted for her team each year. She utilized her knowledge in fashion and cosmetology, on both the runway and print, and with the Hall of Fame fashion show at its conception in the 1970's. This was Tutty. Her biggest passion later in life were her grandchildren, Quinn, Jacqueline, Manda-Lynn, and Braydon. They were her entire world.
She leaves behind to mourn her loss her daughter, Michelle (Kurt) McCully and her son, Edward (Michelle) Boyajian and the grandchildren she so dearly cherished, Quinn and Jacqueline McCully and Manda-Lynn and Braydon Boyajian, as well as, her step-grandchildren, Loren Soliday, and John and Kyla Matheson; beloved cousins, Joyce, Darlene, Sharee and Ricky; and many more family and friends.
Those wishing to pay their respects are welcome to join her family at Reed's Funeral home in North Canton, on Jan. 5, 2014 Sunday afternoon for calling hours 2 to 4, with service at 4 p.m. We are asking that her interment service be family only. There are no words to describe the loss that is now felt in our family and our hearts, and forever will be.~ Say not in grief that she is no more, but say in thankfulness that she was. Her death is not a extinguishing of a light, but the fading of a lamp because the dawn has come.~
