Doug Hazel Obituary
age 53, of Massillon, passed away suddenly Monday, July 22, 2013 at his residence. Doug was born on Oct. 30, 1959 in College Park, Md. Son of Eugene and Doris (Lint) Hazel. Doug was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1978 graduate of Tuslaw High School. He was an avid bicycle rider and loved watching NASCAR. Doug was a member of Faith Community Fellowship.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Hazel in 1977 and his grandparents, Isabelle and Carl Lint. He is survived by his mother, Doris (Lint) Hazel and special friend, Bob Gresh; his brother, Steve (Brenda) Hazel; his nieces, Jennifer Hazel Young and Monica Hazel Crescenze; and the family's special friend, Jackie Hazel.
The family will be celebrating Doug's Life on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Faith Community Fellowship. Rev. David Kimberly will be Officiating. Friends may gather at the church from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Faith Community Fellowship. Doris and family, I am deeply sorry to hear of Doug's passing. I appreciated that he was always good to my Grammie and my nephew Matt. I am so happy that he found God and will now spend eternity with our Heavenly Father. I will be keeping you all in my prayers.
