Eileen Yoder Obituary
of Hartville, Ohio, passed away peacefully, at the age of 82. She was born in Uniontown, Ohio, April 30, 1938 to William and Emma (Stutzman) Yoder. Together with her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her brother, David Yoder and sisters, Miriam Sommers and Mildred Miller.
She is survived by her sister, Erma Hostetler; 17 nieces and nephews; nephew and caretaker, Dennis Miller; many cherished relatives, friends, and her church family. A life member of Maple Grove Mennonite Church, she was active in many facets of the church. Eileen, a gentle soul, was kind with a giving nature.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Maple Grove Mennonite Church, 2121 Smith-Kramer Street, NE, Hartville, Ohio 44632, where the service for Eileen will be conducted on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 10:00 am. Pastor Reagan Sommers will be officiating. Interment will take place at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Hartville. Due to the ongoing health concerns, we kindly ask that masks or facial coverings are worn and social distancing guidelines are observed. Eileen was a wonderful woman. She was always ready to laugh together. We sang hymns often in the few years I was blessed to care for her. I loved her like she was my own kin, and I will miss her terribly. Prayers sent to your family for peace and calm in this awful time of loss and trial.
