To my Baby Brother,
I have loved you all my life. While these past few years have been very hard at times, I am so thankful I could walk beside you. We talked for hours and hours and hours. Thank you for trusting me. You told me many times to let you go. I told you then and say it now: I will never let you go. All those years ago we became best of friends. If we were separated, we just picked up where we left off. You shared stories with me that I had long forgotten. The details were so vivid to you they became real for me. Your mind captured every moment: the color of the sky, the fragrance of the wind, the feel of the grass. I remember when we were kids laying in the yard under the willow tree because you reminded me. And now I will never forget. When I look up into the night sky and see Orion I will think of you and remember our many talks about the stars. I will always remember when you called and we watched as the Space Station soared overhead at that exact moment. I think someday we will go on that long walk together. Up and down softly rolling hills where the green grass grows forever. Together we'll find Dad, dressed in his overalls and planting a garden. We'll laugh again. My dream from long ago that you always remembered. I love you forever XXOO Michelle -You are loved with an everlasting love and underneath are the Everlasting Arms.

I worked with Eric for many years in the OR at Aultman. His wonderfully dry sense of humor and ability to tell great story made even the worst days better. Rest in peace, Eric.... Sending prayers of comfort to his loved ones and friends.

Eric was a long time friend of my husbands when I met him. We spent countless hours at his house having deep discussions around the bon fire and boating. Harold was always in on the conversations at the house and made it that much more fun. It was a decade of good times and great memories that I will never forget. I so enjoyed Eric's humor, creative thinking and friendship. Although life took us in different directions we never stopped thinking about him and reminiscing the good times. We looked forward to meeting up with him again. He was one of a kind and we are heartbroken to hear of his loss. RIP Eric you were so special. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family. With deepest sympathy, Lance and Kelli Dunn

I will miss you Eric. I will never forget all of the great times that we had as some of my greatest memories are shared with you. It is hard to type words that describe your amazing spirit and confidence that you carried yourself with. Your huge heart and caring friendship will not be forgotten. I only wish that I would have made more of an effort to stay in touch more often.

My Deepest sympathy to Eric's family. Eric was so fun to work with. Sometimes he liked to be an instigator, but it was always entertaining. I miss him. He had such a big heart! I'm glad he is now at peace.

We were in our late teens, and a group of us headed to the Rubber Bowl for an Akron U game. Eric's only intent was to start a wave in the fully packed stadium. I admit I was a non-believer, doubting he'd be able to pull it off. More likely the crowd would either boo, laugh at, or ignore him. To my surprise, Eric's determination and mass appeal got a few in the stands near us starting. Then more and more surrounding would join in, until the entire stadium produced the wave all the way around. I was amazed he pulled it off, and from then on, convinced Eric could move mountains if he willed it. He was larger than life and a tremendous inspiration to me, reassuring that anything is possible with the power of self-determination.
He inspired me to write this many years ago, which he would often quote:
The bare man stands alone with arms wide open. Not to take but to give, to anyone who is in need, of nothing.
Simply meaning, that we all have within us all we need for ourselves to prosper.
I am so proud and honored to have been his friend. I regret missing out his later years. I am sure there's much we could have further learned from each other.
I miss you my friend. I hope you finally have found peace.

A handsome, smart young man! So, so many memories! All those summers, you spent a lot of time playing with your cousins, here, and in the woods. I always loved you! All the family dinners, holidays, you absolutely loved those rolls!!
Remember you stopping by after Doug passed away, you were so loving and compassionate, and gave me the longest, strongest hug ever!
I'm so sorry your gone. I'll never forget you ever! I only wish our families could have been closer.
