George Morris Obituary
in Canton he was the son of the late George A. and Elizabeth
(Gilmore) Morris. He severed in the U.S. Army and was a painter
working in sandblasting. George was a member of the Canton
Baptist Temple, enjoyed Nascar racing and music.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Morris; sons: George (Marci)
Morris Jr., Jeffrey Morris, Steven Morris; daughter, Melinda
Morris; brothers: Walter (Jane) Morris, Dale (Marie) Morris,
James (Maxine) Morris; sisters, Patricia Charley, Beverly
Negulis; grandchildren: Jonathan, Jarred, Elana, Samantha, Jacob,
Chelsie, Kennedy, Taylor, Steven, Madeline, Ethan; and four
great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded
in death by his brother: Gary Morris; sisters and brothers-in-law:
Donna (Doug) Vest, Collen (James) Gilmore, Carolyn (Red) Almond;
brothers-in-law: Harry Charley and Sam Negulis.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 12 noon in the Wackerly
Funeral Home with Rev. Delaney Young officiating. Burial will
be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Saturday morning
from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon in the funeral home. For those
