Harry Bryan Obituary
Harry Gene Bryan, age 78, of Perry Township, passed away Wednesday Jan. 17, 2007. Born in Newark, OH to the late Robert and Mildred (Metcalf) Bryan. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy for over 20 years, retiring as Sr. Chief Petty Officer. He was a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service retiring in 1988. Also preceded in death by his wife, Martha I. Bryan in November of 2006; one sister, JoAnn and one brother, Robert. Memberships include Fleet Reserve Association Branch 324, Myers Lake Moose Lodge and the Massillon Elks. Survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Jeff Papson; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Vicki Bryan; four grandchildren, Matt (wife-Amanda) Bryan, LeAnn (husband- Darren) Williams, Kate, and Marilyn Papson; two great-granddaughters, Ashley and Lauren; sisters, Linda (Pete) Roberts, Mary Swick, Julie (Mike) Kelley; brother, Kenny Bryan. Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Schneeberger Funeral Home with Rev. James Zimmerman, Pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Calling hours will be Friday from 7-9 p.m. and one before service Saturday from 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home.

You have my condolances. I met Gene back in 1962 when he enlisted my in the Naval Reserve. Also as a member of Fleet Reserve Association Branch 324.
