JAMES BRADY Obituary
age 75 of Massillon, OH, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021, following complications from a fall in his home. He was born on November 18, 1945 in Massillon. James was an active man, an avid golfer, and bowler. He was a member of the VFW Post #3124 and the Sons of Herman. James loved to get together with his children where they shot pool, fished, played cards, and bingo. He retired after 43 years of service from Republic Steel in Massillon.
He is preceded in death by his son, James Brady, Jr.; mother, Pauline; brother, Sam; and sister-in-law, Carolyn. He is survived by his wife, Rita (Barnhart) Brady; children: Angela (Curt Pierce) Cottrell, Theresa (Ray) Fowler, Melissa (Brian) McVeen, Mariana Brady, Justin (Andrea Stark) Brady, Michelle (Rick) Knight, Judene (Mike) Baer, and Barb Karcher; 25 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and many friends, family, and loved ones.
A celebration of life will be held at Kiwanis Park in Massillon, Ohio, August 1st., at 1 pm. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
